Intro.
Last year, I came across an R&B artist named Mahalia. One of my favorite songs by Mahalia is "Hideout" so when I saw her performance of this song on the YouTube channel, Colors, an aesthetic music platform, I decided to challenge myself in creating a minimal design inspired, short animation.
This passion project introduced me to the process of creating a vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator and then importing that file into Adobe After Effects to add subtle animations to my video clip.
